Sherri Goggin is from Chattanooga Tennessee where she completed her degree in Business Marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She moved to Athens, Ga in 1995 after meeting her husband Tom. The Goggins have 5 children; Kate (12), Tom (10), Will (8), Sam (8) and Mary (8) ........yes, triplets!
Sherri is an avid community volunteer who enjoys using her creativity and contagious positive energy to help others. Sherri serves on the Northeast Georgia March of Dimes Advisory Board. She founded the non-profit organization Bundles of Joy for Preemies which provides comfort and support to families in the neonatal intensive care unit. She enjoys working with Butterfly Dreams Farm Therapeutic Riding Program where her son Sam received hippotherapy and now enjoys therapeutic riding.
Sherri writes a weekly column in the Athens Banner Herald focusing on life in the fast lane with a big and bustling family. She shares a family favorite recipe each week. She also authors a column in the monthly magazine, Southern Distinction.
In 2006, Sherri was crowned Mrs. Georgia and placed 3rd runner up in the Mrs. United States pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sherri is the author of Kate’s Story, a journal detailing her 126 day journey in the neonatal intensive care with her first child, born 4 months premature. A story of inspiration, faith and hope for a child born too soon and too small. Kate’s Story release date will be announced in the near future. The Goggins shared their

In her free time, Sherri enjoys league tennis, outdoor fun and playing with her
dog, Max.
